We have two rare opportunities for Occupational Therapists to join both our Riverina & ACT hubs. You will provide patient centered care to a diverse caseload of clients to enhance their wellbeing and independence. 

About the Role

  • You will work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse range of clients, from gerontology to paediatrics, including NDIS.
  • Work with a dynamic multidisciplinary team within the community allowing for personal growth and development.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with other like-minded Occupational Therapists within Unified Health – ranging from new grads to experienced Senior Occupational Therapists – and attend/present inservices, examine case studies and discuss new evidence-based practice research in our regular meetings.
  • Cater your caseload to your interests and your clinical skills, with the opportunity to grow within specific areas of service.
  • Attend formal and informal opportunities for networking and development at a statewide level.
  • Commitment to your development via specialised learning and inclusion in our Unified Health Inservice program, specific to OT’s and also with the opportunity to learn from our multidisciplinary team.
  • Opportunity to travel throughout NSW and the ACT and work with our team in our multiple Allied Health hub locations.
  • Modern technologies and cloud-based systems are used for diaries and documentation to minimise the stress placed on you as a clinician.
  • Support with administrative tasks by our skillful Client Support Coordinators and Administration team.
  • Opportunity to pass on your knowledge to upcoming OT’s and students with our placement partnerships with multiple Universities across NSW.

About You

  • A genuine desire to learn and grow within the role.
  • The willingness to work autonomously when required and also collaboratively as part of our multi-faceted team .
  • Able to remain calm and confident under pressure, and during all aspects of clinical practice.
  • Able to clinically reason and determine the best treatment for clients.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Standards.
  • You have relevant tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
  • You have clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience in NDIS will be an advantage.
  • You have your own car and a valid drivers’ license.
  • Evidence of AHPRA registration, Police Check, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker screening check.
  • Evidence of Full COVID Vaccination, including COVID Booster.
